Shashank Chaphekar is the Chief Distribution and Customer Officer for Manipal Cigna Health Insurance Company (Formerly known as Cigna TTK) Shashank is responsible for all customer acquisitions in the Retail and Group segment, leveraging synergies across product segment, channel and geographical verticals.

With over 2 decades of work experience, Shashank brings with him a deep industry knowledge and exposure to all distribution channels like Agency, Banc-assurance, Corporate Agency & Broking, Direct Marketing, Group Business, Online Sales and Sales Strategy.

With 16 years in India’s Life insurance industry, he waslast associated with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd as an Executive Vice President handling Group and Partnership Distribution business. He has contributed immensely in shaping and delivering the ICICI Prudential business strategy over the years.

Academically he is an Electronics Engineer along with Post-Graduation in Marketing from one of India’s elite management college

He is a sports enthusiast and swimming is his passion. He has represented Karanataka state for nationals in Swimming and continue to pursue the same as a hobby
