The pre-convention meeting of 6th December 1990: Mr. S. Basu analyzed the concept financial and medical implications in the sale of 1 crore policy, Mr. A. J. Lewis shared sales ideas and the session was presided by Zonal Manager, R. Satgopan.
Breakfast Meeting: Mr. Bharat Gosar, Mr. Sibendu Basu and N. Prasand shared thier sales ideas and the session was presided by Mr. E.I. Thomas, Sr. DM LIC OF INDIA.
The 1990 LIRT 3rd Table was inaugurated by Mr. N. R. Ranganathan, Special Secretary Goverment of India, Ministry of Finance, Dept. of Economic Affairs and he delivered his inaugural address. Mr. V.P. Verma, Chief Commissionar Income Tax spoke on insurance and income tax. Dr. N. V. Apte spoke on success without stress. Mr. Jaithirth Rao spoke on our theme Professionalism. Mr. A. N. Shanbaug explained the magic of compound interest and total financial planning for an individual. Mr. Shailesh Haribhakti highleghted the need for Business insurance. Mr. Appa Rao, IFSERT, spoke of CLU movement and thier American College. Mr.P. Balasubramaniam gave a detailed talk on Financial and Medical aspects of Underwriting.
Dinner Meeting: Mr. J. P. Sharaf sopke on rebating and Ms. Asha Rani Singh shared her sales ideas. The dinner meeting wa chaired by Mr. K. V. Natoo, Sr. DM Coordination Bombay.
Breakfast Meeting on the second day was addressed by Mr. Vallabh Chheda who resigned as Development Officer to become an LIC agent. Sales ideas were shared by Mr. K. D. Agarwal and Mr. J. C. Ahuja.
The Second day's proceedings began with address on our theme "PROFESSIONAL" by our MD Mr. G. Chidambaram. Mr. D. N. Paymaster analysed who is true Professional. Mr. N. N. Joshi addressed the participants as LIC housing Mr.Satish Shrinagesh spoke on Power of Goal Setting. Mr. J. S. Salunke visualised future in the 90' s. Dinner Session had sales ideas by Mr.Shyam Pancholi and Mr. Satyanarayan Rao.
On the last day Breakfast Meeting young agent Mr. Bharat Parekh and Senoir most agent Mr. M. M. Ahuja shared their sales ideas with the participants. Mr. Narashimhan spoke on our them professionalism. Mr. Jambusaria our Executive Director spoke on investments of the LIC, Mr. P.C. Gupta explained about Mutual Funds and Mr. Ramtolani, heading the Vita group, Hongkong addressed the participants. Mr. T. Paul Diamond spoke on Group Insurance and Dr. K. K. Anand spoke on Professionalism.
