President Address
Respected Delegates, Esteemed Guests, and Distinguished Speakers,
On behalf of the Organising Committee, it is my great privilege to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each of you to the 37th LIRT Annual Convention, being held in the vibrant city of Indore from 12th to 15th September. This year we gather under an inspiring theme—“Adapt, Evolve and Succeed.” These three words capture not only the spirit of this convention but also the essence of the times we live in.
Indore, the commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh, provides an ideal backdrop for our deliberations. Renowned as India’s cleanest city for several consecutive years, Indore beautifully balances heritage and modernity. From the grandeur of Rajwada to the bustling charm of Sarafa Bazaar, the city mirrors our own professional journey: rooted in tradition yet eager to embrace innovation. We invite you to immerse yourself in its culture, taste its legendary cuisine, and feel the warmth of its hospitality as we embark on these four days of learning and exchange.
The theme “Adapt, Evolve and Succeed” reminds us that progress is never static. Around the world, industries are being reshaped by technological disruption, shifting consumer expectations, and global challenges. To remain relevant, we must adapt to change with agility, evolve our skills and perspectives, and ultimately succeed by creating value for the communities we serve. This convention is designed to help us explore exactly how to achieve that.
Over the next four days, you will experience an engaging programme of keynote addresses, panel discussions, technical sessions, and interactive workshops. Our distinguished speakers will share their expertise on emerging trends, best practices, and innovative solutions. We encourage you to participate actively—ask questions, share your experiences, and challenge conventional thinking. It is through this open dialogue that we can collectively shape the future of our profession.
Equally important is the opportunity to build lasting connections. Often, the most memorable insights emerge not just in formal sessions, but in the informal conversations over coffee, during evening gatherings, or while exploring the city together. We urge you to network, collaborate, and discover new partnerships that can continue long after the convention closes.
