Thereafter, he was the manager for a major life insurance company, supervising marketing activities and training in the estate planning and employee benefits areas. Twenty-two training manuals for financial planning, practice management and marketing have been authored by Mr. Morrow. For eight years he hosted a weekly radio show “Money Talks” on WPFB and prepared weekly columns for local newspapers.
A prolific author of over 500 articles on practice management and financial planning in professional journals, he has also published three books on practice management and designed eight software programs that are used by over 4,000 financial planners, accountants and educators. The ProPlan comprehensive financial planning software was released in 1980. The Practice Builder Financial, which includes a Master Implementation Checklist of 750 planning techniques and over 5,000 pages of financial information is a CRM program now used by over 5,000 financial advisors.
Mr. Morrow has headed the Continuing Education Committee for the Society of Financial Service Professionals (CLU & ChFC) and was the founding President of the Miami Valley Society of the ICFP. He is a past President of the 5,000 member Ohio Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. He served as a national director of the Academy of Financial Services
