Ragunath Murthy began his distinguished career providing insurance services in the early eighties. Progressing steadily through sheer guts, determination and hard work, he has risen through the ranks to become an outstanding Agency Manager with Prudential Malaysia, a leading player in the highly competitive Retail Financial Services Market.

 He was also one of the members of a special task force called Prudential Super 12. This was a group of young managers who revolutionized Agency Management in Prudential Malaysia until what it is today.

 He was specially sent by Prudential to Chicago USA  to Harry Hoopis Agency(North Western Mutual) to understudy LMDP(Leadership, Management, Development Program)

 He was also invited by Prudential ICCCI, India to assist in recruitment, whereby he was responsible to recruit the first 1,500 agents.

 Ragunath Murthy was the Managing Director of PT. Buss Indonesia  (Authorized Distributor for Allianz Life Indonesia) which was established in 2005.

 Ragunath Murthy was the Technical Advisor for Agency, Financial Center Distribution, Retail Assurance Distribution and Postal Assurance Distribution with AIG Life Indonesia in 2008.

His biggest achievement in AIG, is that he had recruited 6,000 Agents, doubling the agency force within 7 months.

 

Ragunath Murthy presently is the Technical Advisor for Panin Life, heading Wealth Management. A ‘Start Up’ and to date has a sales force strength of 1.300.

 

 

Ragunath  Murthy is also well sought after speaker for motivation talks, Sales and Recruitment seminars, conferences and conventions. He has been a platform speaker for many conferences throughout Asia.

 Ragunath Murthy is also a certified trainer for Strategic Thinking Workshop(STW), a program specially drawn for Agency Leaders, moderator for LUTC (The Malaysian Insurance Institute), and moderator for CLPM (National Association).
