Vaidheesh has more than three decades of experience spanning across various industries including FMCG, medical devices and diagnostics. An Honorary Fellow of the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India, Vaidheesh is closely involved in many health care initiatives such as health insurance, professional education and development of technology solutions relevant to the emerging markets. He has contributed significantly to the health care space through innovative solutions aimed at reducing the burden of infections and lifestyle diseases.

A Masters Degree holder in Management, Vaidheesh has had a successful track record of creating brands in FMCG and the health care space. Vaidheesh joined Johnson & Johnson as a Product Manager of Infection Prevention Products in 1986, during which he was instrumental in enhancing J&J presence in Indonesia and developing new markets in the Asia-Pacific. He also pioneered several benchmark marketing initiatives in J&J. He is a black-belt in Six Sigma technique of process excellence.

After returning to India, he took over as the Executive Vice President at Johnson & Johnson Medical India, with specific responsibilities for few of the business units. He was appointed Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson Medical India in 2007. He is a Member of the Global Management Board of one of the key businesses of the J&J Medical Devices and diagnostics sector. 

He actively mentors and trains young leaders as a faculty in various management institutes in India and abroad.  He is  the Chairman of Health Care Consultation 2010, IIM Indore.

Vaidheesh is also the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Sub-Committee on Accessibility and the ex-Chairman of the Western Region Healthcare Committee of the CII.   Backed by extensive experience in the industry, Vaidheesh has taken Johnson & Johnson Medical to greater heights in the medical technology arena.
