Life Insurance Round Table (LIRT), an Association of Insurance Professionals came into existence 27 years ago, because of the dream and vision of a few dedicated Insurance Professional who attended Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) in USA.

The mission of LIRT has been to impart ethical and professional knowledge among the Insurance Professionals in order to ignite passion and optimism among them.  LIRT is an autonomous and non-profit institution existing for the education of Insurance Professionals.  Apart from various cities in India, LIRT also conducted Annual Conventions in Nepal and the 25^th Silver Jubilee Convention in Malaysia.

Since 1988, LIRT has been conducting 3 days Residential Conventions in some of the best 5 Star Hotels in various cities of India and abroad for the benefit of ambitious Financial Intermediaries. Some of the best Speakers from Indian and Overseas, like USA, UK, and Asian Countries visit LIRT regularly in order to transform the delegates attending LIRT Annual Convention year after years. Annual Conventions begin with Pre-Convention events for the First Time Attendees (FTA), felicitation of Top Performers known as ‘Star-Twinkle Stars’ Session, followed by Managers Session for Team Leaders and ending with a Dinner Session on  Health or Alternative Medicines for the Physical and Mental Health.

The Main platform sessions begin in the morning by invoking the blessings of God through various forms of prayer and Flag Ceremony followed by the Key-note Presentation on the Theme of Convention by some of the most eminent personalities either from the spiritual fraternity or from the industry leaders. Morning hour’s main-platform presentations are made by some of the best speakers from India and Overseas on various subjects and skills-development.  Interactive work-shops are conducted in the after-noon followed by Sales Idea discussion and presentation for honing the skills of new talents.

Apart from education, LIRT Annual Conventions provide for local entertainment or sightseeing wherever it becomes feasible.  Being a Residential Convention, delegates find lots of time for net-working with the leaders and to learn through personal and group discussions with some of the most successful insurance professionals and the Speakers staying overnight in convention premises. Hence, it generates bonding and friendship resulting in self-help groups or mentors.  Most of the top Insurance Professionals in India owe their success to LIRT because their lives have been changed for the better during these conventions either on account of speaker presentations or due to group interactions and networking with the leaders. This institution has grown due to the dedication and dynamic leadership of some of the enlightened professionals who work throughout the year without seeking any glory or personal benefits.  Conventions have been organized in nodal cities so that delegates from several of India and abroad can participate; imbibe professional knowledge and ethical values and rub-shoulders top-achievers industry leaders.

I welcome all the LIRT participants to the historical ‘Pink city’ of Jaipur for the 27th Annual Convention, on the theme “Perfection” in a grand venue of Hotel Le-Meridien.
